Recently, I dabbled in a beauty box swap with my friend Sara. I thought I'd give you guys a peek into what I got and my first impressions. The budget was £35. Lets get that box opened...
Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser | From what I see so far, I can already tell this is set to be a firm favourite. It really does keep your skin looking 'poreless'. It makes my skin feel super soft and its made the foundation on my face look a lot better. Its early early days but its looking good.
Maxfactor Creamy Blush in 'Soft Murano' | The colour is a winner. Its a brick red with pink undertones - Thats the best way to describe this colour. Its beautiful. The formula so far does not seem to be drying, it seems to apply evenly. I do love a good cream blush. I find for dry skin types like myself, they put a bit of dew back into the desert that is my face. And this one is very pretty.
Bourjois Highlighting Powder | Said to be the dupe rocking a cheaper price tag to the infamous Hourglass Ambient Lighting powders, I am going to say - I am excited to be giving this a try. It looks like a fine powder thats far from chalky. And its a beautiful pristine white with a bit of shimmer to it. I like a highlight that shimmers. They catch the light so beautifully. And who doesn't love a good dupe?! I will keep you updated on this one…
Urban Decay 24hr glide on pencil in 'Gunmetal' | Yep. She spoilt me. Oh my. Its something I have been itching to try for absolutely ages and she gave it to me as a gift. This snazzy number will be seeing a lot of love. I love a good grey eyeliner, so this will be right at home. I am looking forward to rocking the colour on my eyes. Grrr. Love. It. Dearly.
Bath Gels from Sephora | Last but not least, some really cute bath gels from Sephora. Oh my. I think I am drowning in cuteness. Those dogs!?! I don't know if I could bare to see them dissolve in the water. Call me a drama queen but hey I am a sucker for cuteness. You should have seen the packaging? It was stupidly cute as well.
Its safe to say she did a super good job. She knows me SO well. I love doing beauty box swaps with friends, just because you know they know what you like.

DeleteGunmetal is one of my favorite eyeliners from UD. Perfect for those days when you want subtle definition. It's a must have in my collection!

I looove subtle definition, so this should be right up my street! I am very excited to delve in and use it now! :) xx
DeleteThose bath gels are adorable! How big are they approximately (like compared to your hand or something so that I have a reference point haha)? Also how do you use them? Is it more like a bath bomb or bubble bath? Sorry for all the questions but I have never seen these before and they look very interesting so I'm curious :)

They are small. They fit in the palm of my hand! They have a plastic layer that shapes them, when it contacts water that plastic film will dissolve leaving the gel to enter the water. It can create bubbles too! If you pop the bath gels in whilst the water is running, your sure to get bubbles. I hope that helps! I have yet to use these though. I will be sure to keep you informed! :)
