The sun is out in full force today and I thought I'd spend Sunday pampering myself with a few treatments and then go lounge out under the sun in the garden. A glass of cloudy lemonade will definitely be in hand. Ooh la la - The luxury. I do love pampering myself. Let me introduce you to some amazing beauty products and treatments that are perfect for that lazy Sunday. Don't you just love them?!
Sally Hanson Nail Polish in 'Mauve Along' £6.99
This is a glorious nail polish. Loaded with a wide flat brush and a generous amount of product, I think you will find this range to be very pleasing. I have been really feeling the nude nails lately - and this colour is certainly floating my boat. So I slapped it onto my nails ready for Monday. Ooh. Bring it on. 'Mauve Along' is a basic nude with slight purple undertones. Think brown with a purple edge. Application is like taking a walk in the park. Two strokes and your are done. The shape of the brush makes things quick, easy & imperfection free. Whilst it takes a while to dry, you won't be waiting a stone age like other nail polishes. And the formula seems thick & quite glossy.
Dr Organic Manuka Honey Rescue Cream £8.89
This is the perfect product for a Sunday afternoon chilling in the sun (I am actually doing this!). Its a light, refreshing organic moisturiser that smells incredible. Stress on incredible. If you have sensitive, irritable or dry skin - this may be something for you to try. Not only is it free from nasty ingredients, the formula is so refreshing. It melts like a dream into your skin, leaving it hydrated, cool and totally pampered. This is really nice for the weather that is keeping us on our toes. If your skin reacts to changes in temperature, this may be the perfect product for you. It should help to keep that reactive skin at bay. It has certainly helped with mine.
Lush 'Angels on bare skin' Facial Cleanser £6.40
What sort of Sunday would I be having without a facial of some sort? And I thought I'd mix things up a bit and keep to the spring theme by embracing this lavender scented Lush cleanser. First off - This smells so nice. It definitely triggers the springtime spirit in me. The scent is strong but quite refreshing too. It comes in this play dough like consistency, where your supposed to take a small amount, add water and massage into the face. I class this product as playful and fun. It certainly is something different - but perfect for a Sunday facial. If your up for expanding your horizons, get your hands on this. Whilst this isn't the best cleanser I have ever used, it leaves my skin feeling super soft. It has small exfoliating grains that aren't harsh or scratchy and when they are worked into the skin - your skin is left feeling smooth. I can't stop touching my face. Oh dear.
