Last night I hit 1000 followers on Bloglovin. At this point I am quite overwhelmed with the amount of support you guys have given this little blog of mine. And I just wanted to say that I am so grateful. A little giveaway to mark the milestone is on its way - keep your eyes pealed. Now onto the post! Another day, another blush being featured on the blog. This time I am introducing you to a cream blush in 'Afternoon Tea', curtesy of Topshop. Its a stunner…
This cream blush is a good one to pick up if your looking for a day time blush. 'Afternoon Tea' is a perky pink shade that sits firmly in between a soft and bright pink. It is bright but not overly so, and soft enough to give your cheeks a natural glow. This is a colour that will give your complexion a boost if its facing a hard dull day. If you feel like a ghost thats gone through the mill, this will be a joy to use. Its cream to powder texture is delightful, which means this is suited for all skin types. If you have oily skin, do not fear - This is a good one to try out. Because its a bit drier then your typical cream blushes, this will sit in place a lot better. Its not going to the type of blush that fades away easily or goes patchy quite quickly. No, this is reliable and quite resilient. The swatches above show on the left, a full colour swatch. And to the right I have blended it out.
Its a graceful colour, well suited to it name. And if your opting to try a cream blush for the first time, I would seriously recommend you start with a Topshop cream blush. Its easy to use if you want to dabble...

Oh nooo! Yep. If you have had an incident with cream blushes go slow. If your skin is oily, these are cream to powder so they will stay in place better!
DeleteThat's so pretty, I love the topshop cream blushes and I really want to try this one :)
