No 7 have introduced a Match Made service for your lips. They aim to find the perfect lipstick for you using your skin tone. I thought I would put it to the test…
The idea behind the 'Match Made Lipstick Service' at the No 7 Counter is to find the perfect lipstick to match your skin tone. They use an electronic device to find out the shade of your skin tone. I ended up being the lightest shade there is 'Calico'. You could say I wasn't that surprised by the results. The card that I received recommended 8 different Matte shades to choose from. I brought home two to show you:
'Blushing Tulip' is a peppy coral toned pink lipstick that I have fallen head over heels for. The shade really lifts a dull complexion. This is my lipstick for spring. The lipstick is part of their Stay Perfect Lipstick collection, so the finish is matte. But the formula is not drying. It doesn't stain your teeth or your food either. Its great at staying put. Whilst I was slightly dubious about this shade suiting me, I was left very pleased at the results.
'Hot Copper' is a spicy Orange copper toned red. If you are looking to throw a bit of energy into your look, this shade will do that for you. The shade is a lot more fierce then your average red. Again its another great shade for the Spring and Summer. If it wasn't for the card I would never have even found this shade.
This Lipstick Match service introduces you to some absolutely stunning lipstick colours. It is completely free to try out. The colours I picked suit me and my skin tone.

This is such a lovely idea; I always love the look of lipsticks, but until you get them home and try them on you have no idea whether they'll suit you. I'll definitely have to look into this! The shades selected are beautiful, and look stunning on you!
