New to the beauty bag!

As a blogger I love trying out new make up. And I don't think I'm alone in this either! It perks your life up a bit. And recently quite a few things have slipped themselves inside the make up bag. So I thought I'd give you ladies a little peek into some of the latest products that have joined my make up bag...

Bad Gal Lash Mascara by Benefit

I was blown away with this mascara. Its definitely crept itself into my top five. This is one of those mascaras that just does everything well: lengthens, volumises and keeps your lashes separated. The wand is big. My jaw dropped a little at the size of it. But this big, thick, fluffy bristle wand does a very good job at getting the mascara through all of your lashes.  It does a nice job at making the lashes look long, thick, healthy & full. It makes them flair. Ooh, I love a good flutter in my lashes. This makes short stumpy lashes look longer, thicker & a thing of the past. Its magic in a tube. Cons: Too many coats can make it look slightly clumpy, smudges slightly if you rub your eyes

Rouge Edition Velvet by Bourjois in 02 Frambourjoise

Frambourjoise is an electric coral pink colour with bright red undertones. The colour reminds me quite firmly of a double agent: understated in its packaging but fierce when it shows its true colours. These matte lip creams hold an impressive formula. Whilst matte lip products can typically be quite drying, these are very moisturisingThe peculiar thing about this range is that it doesn't fully dry. It semi dries. You can tell that the formula contains natural oils to keep parched lips at bay. Despite not being fully dry it stays in place and does not stray. I highly recommended these for long days out. Cons: It can stain your teeth slightly through forceful actions such as biting your lips.

Jemma Kidd Eye shimmer shadow in 01 Creme

I managed to get my hands on some Jemma Kidd eyeshadows through fragrance direct and I have to say I love it. 'Creme' is a gorgeous shimmery cream colour with golden undertones. Its simply stunning. I have been throwing this on as an inner corner and brow bone highlight. It does a wonderful job at catching the light and making my skin glow. The shimmer is finely milled and excellent quality. Its not patchy or chalky. Application is as smooth as a dream. Cons: The brand went into administration. Very hard to get a hold of.

These are the products that have made themselves at home in my make up bag! What are yours? Do recommend me something!

    1. Its all about baby steps! Try a pink with red undertones and work your way up! This would be perfect because it is a pink with red undertones! Haha. I think everyone can rock a red lip!

  4. I'm intrigued by the Bourjois velvet but I'm not a huge fan of matte lips as they always seem to make my lips look in bad condition, despite moisturising loads before using! Everyone seems to be raving about them though so I may have to give one a go. Frambourjoise is such a stunning colour!
