Skin Care Haul

Its winter. It feels like winter. And its far too cold for my liking. So in an attempt to combat this 'lovely' weather that my skin seems to be 'enjoying oh so much' - please mind the sarcasm, I went shopping…that ended well! I think I may have burnt a hole through my purse. Oh dear. In exchange for the loss of money, my cupboards are stocked, prepped and ready to begin the battle of the 'winter skin'. Lets hope I bust those dry patches right off my face…

Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask | £30 ... I was browsing 'The Garden Pharmacy' on the notorious Long Acre, when I spotted the infamous Ren Radiance Renewal Mask that every blogger and their dog seems to be raving about and I picked it up. Simple as that - It was love at first sight. I really like this product. It makes my skin glow. Glow. Need I say any more? It looks healthier - those dry patches are facing war with this product and it just does wonders for my skin. Yes wonders. The smell though is quite a difficult one to get over. It gives me a head ache. The pain I face for my skin.

Pixi Glow Tonic | £16 ... I wanted to try a chemical exfoliator. I wanted something that would help clear up dead skin but not put my skin through the ringer - if you get my drift. As a sensitive skinned soul, I need a gentle product to help me out. I don't want to end up looking like the backside of a baboons bum. No thank you! The rumours about this product were everywhere. And I must say it was those rumours that made me buy it. I have indeed heard mixed reviews on this product. But I like it. Granted it stings slightly when it goes onto the skin, so I keep usage of this to every other day. But its nice. I have dry skin, so I like the fact it smooths everything over without breaking me out in redness.

Loreal Skin Perfection Micellar Solution | £3.33 … I was in boots and this happened to be reduced. Reduced ladies. I wasn't able to resist the purchase and it just so happened to fall into the basket and make its way to the till. I know, Its bad. People natter on about this being better then Bioderma. Can I just say, there isn't a difference, they are both as good as each other. This product however, is hard to control when pouring it out. When I say pour - it pours. Its like a wave hitting the cotton pad and drenching it to the bone. You end up wasting a lot of the product. Meh. Its £3.33 - Its not a huge deal, just quite annoying.

Origins Drink up Intensive Overnight Mask | £11 ... I have always had my eye on this. Its been on the wishlist for a long time. But the £22.00 price tag made me incredibly indecisive over whether to buy it or not. So when they slipped an £11 version of this stuff onto their website. Guess who got it straight away? Me! Thats who. I love it. It does absolute wonders for my skin. Where has this product been all my life?!

Origins Charcoal Mask | £11 ... I picked this mask up too. My pores have been driving me a little mad recently. Theres a patch of really noticable pores sitting on a very small part of my face. Lovely description, I know.  I am probably being fussy. But I thought I would invest anyway, to combat them trouble makers. I haven't used this yet. But I will do soon. I will make sure to let you know if I get results from it!

Anyone else splurged on skincare? Oh, its just me then...

Lots of loving
