Winter Make up Loves

Mac Eyeshadow in Sable Review

Do you ever find yourself swooning over certain pieces of make up? With the days growing colder, I find myself glued to certain make up products: Four to be precise. I thought it would be fun to introduce you to my 'Winter Make up Loves'…

Mac Frost Eyeshadow in 'Sable' £13.00  | LINK

This is my favourite Mac Eyeshadow. 'Sable' is a really gorgeous bronze like brown with a subtle coppery undertone to it. It is a very flattering shade to wear. Its coppery orange undertones compliment blue eyes well. I like to put a wash of 'Sable' over the lids, especially in the colder months, it is a great shade to wear alone. The colour is warm, does not over power the eyes and is a great shade to wear out in the Winter. This rich warm brown shade just make me swoon

Sleek Blush in 'Pomegranate' £4.49  | LINK

I love to wear darker blushes as the days grow colder. The bolder blushes tend to come out more often in the winter as I like to add a bit of drama to my cheeks. My favourite winter blush is Sleek's 'Pomegranate'. Its rich purple plum tones really warm your cheeks with a beautiful splash of colour. This is a great shade to warm up a pale complexion on a winter day. 'Pomegranate' is just swoon worthy. I could stare at it all day long.

Topshop Glow Highlighter in 'Polished £9.00  | LINK

These cream 'Glow Highlighters' from Top Shop are a delight to wear. The shade 'Polished' is by far my favourite. It is a really warm cream colour with a light golden shimmery undertone. This cream based highlighter is light, moisturising and easy to wear out. Its a very build able product depending on whether you want to have a natural looking glow or if you want to pull off a more dramatic look. I love to inject a little bit of life into my face and highlighters that have warm undertones to them can really add a lot of warmth into your complexion. If your looking for a good winter highlight, this is definitely an option to look into. I can't put this product down

Topshop Chunky Glitter Pot in 'Hero' £4.00 | LINK

The winter is the season to be festive. And with the festivities comes lots of glitter. I love having an excuse to wear glitter and 'Christmas' is definitely my go to excuse at this time of year. I have been playing around with a little pot of chunky glitter from Top Shop and its been quite an addictive product to use. Chunky gold glitter flakes really do float my boat. Its a very fun product to play around with! A great stocking filler if you need one.
